Sheesh! You don't blog for a couple weeks, and a million things happen...
First things first...We sold our house! Yea! We actually moved out on the weekend of the 6th. We actually closed on the selling of the house on the 6th. Moved out the 6th, 7th, and 8th and moved into an apartment on the 8th. We thought we would be able to settle down after that, but it has been a crazy week since then. We have had several problems with our new house and then...well, let me take you step by step...

Weekend of the 6th.
We began two weeks before the 6th getting everything organized and boxed up. We actually only had about 3 weeks from the sell of our house to actually move out. And let me just digress her a bit and ask Why? Why is is that the buyers get to force you out of your house whenever they feel like it? It's my freakin' house! I'll get out when I'm darn good and ready! And apparently that would be 3 weeks!
We started living meagerly and only using the bare necessities in our house which meant lots of take-out and fast food. We have run the gambit of all things fried and cooked in oil from one side of Hwy 66 to the other. We are so sick of everything considered 'fast'. Rachel, our first home-cooked meal was Basil Pesto from Central Market. Oh CM, is there anything you can't do?
Anyways, everything else was going in storage, in a POD, or at our apartment. We organized the house that way. Living room and breakfast was POD, Front of the house was storage and apartment. It was very neat and orderly until everyone came over Saturday morning to move and then it seemed like all the cabinets magically created more junk for us to pack. We thought we were done, but oh no..pictures to wrap up, computer stuff to box up, cleaning the house for the people to move in, the little things leftover that somehow don't make it in any box. Oops! we forgot the water hoses outside ( well, leave them. We really didn't like them anyway). You never are as organized as you want to be. Here are pics of our mess...

We moved out and spent the night in our beautiful 2 bedroom apartment that overlooks a cool blue pond. Okay, I'm being sarcastic here. The beautiful is that it is cheap which means we are saving money for our other house and very small so not that much to clean and the cool blue pond is the swimming pool which is apparently party central for the apartment complex 'cause people are over there all hours of the night. It's really not that bad...just don't want to be here, you know? I want in my new home badly but that can't happen yet and our move in date is in August but from the looks of it....may be late August (more on that subject soon).
So, thanks to all of you who came out on that hot and sweaty day (there was a cool breeze which made it a little bareable) to help us move. It is just such a complete and totally tiresome undertaking as many of you know who are also moving. This seems to be the year for moves (Celeste, Andi, Suzanne, Donna, Angie, Paula, Jaime...) We appreciate it so much and promise to have a killer party when we move in and invite everyone to our new house. That brings me to the next topic of conversation...The New House or as I call it, The House That is Constantly Having to be Fixed With a New Problem Each Week Because Apparently People Are Stupid House...

Moving aka hell. Feeling your pain sister, feeling your pain. We finally got settled here. But I've decided it's easier to move across the country than across town. That last "load" for us, the junk in the cabinets, the little stuff left in the garage, etc took THREE cars - big cars. What the crap? Or, Where did all that crap come from?
